The NHS Friends and Family Test

Access to your medical records. You can now apply to access your medical records online. To do this you will first need to be registered for Patient Online Services. Apply at reception by completing a request form.

If you are contacting the practice to book an appointment, please complete an online consultation (through AccuRX), you can do this by visiting our website

Repeat PrescriptionsNice_vlue_pills

Patients on long-term medication can order repeat prescriptions in a number of ways:

  • In person - drop your repeat slip off at reception with the required items clearly marked
  • By post - send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.
  • Online - follow the link at the top of this page to complete a simple registration.
  • EPS - Electronic Prescription Service.  Please ask for a nomination form and leaflet at reception.

repeat prescriptions.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

48_hoursPlease allow three full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.

 

 PRESCRIPTION COLLECTION

Prescriptions are to be collected by the patient to whom they relate, an immediate relative or carer. Prescriptions cannot be given to anyone under the age of 14 years. If you wish to give your consent for someone else to collect your prescriptions, other than a pharmacy, please advise the surgery in writing.

The Practice follows the guidelines devised by MMT on medicines/drug prescribing.  Your prescription item may sometimes be replaced with another cheaper brand.  This does not mean that it affects the effectiveness of the medicine/drug.
